Dahlia Plant Sale

Interested in growing Dahlias in your garden this summer. Take a look at the selection below and choose your favourite/s and e-mail us at mistikacres@gmail.com or private message us via Facebook or Instagram with your selection. Preorder only please.

All plants are $10.00 each and payment is by cash at time of pickup.

The healthy plants are growing in a gallon pot, hardened off and ready to be planted into your garden or larger container, and will grow from 3-5' tall.
Plant about 12" - 36" apart.
Dahlias love full sun and really benefit from bloom boosting fertilizer once they start blooming. The more you cut the flowers the more they bloom. They also like even moisture so if there is no rainfall, water at least once per week. More frequently if you are growing in pots. Provide support to the plant in case of inclement weather. A tomato cage is the easiest and becomes invisible as the plant grows.
They should be blooming by mid July to the beginning of August and will continually bloom till frost.

Be forewarned, once you start growing Dahlias you will be hooked and the selection is endless in this species. :-) I am a confessed Dahlia addict!!!!

Each variety name is under the photo. Size of the flower is also indicated. Do keep in mind that the larger the flower, the less flowers the plant produces. The smaller flowered varieties produce more flowers.
I have very limited numbers on some of these varieties, so I will note if they are sold out.
